I like a rainy weekend. Especially during Football Season. Then I don't have to feel guilty about not going outside to play. Even tho I really needed to mow the lawn. I hadn't trimmed it since the Rains returned. I had RG3 with me this weekend and we sat on the back porch watching the rain until we both hit "nap" mode.
Bad weekend for Aggies,Cowboys and Vikings. Good weekend for Texans and Tigers.
Did Roger really "shush" me before and on the air when I was right in the middle of a story? I think he did!
Someday you'll hear the discussion that goes into the creation and selection of our Question Of The Day. It isn't pretty.
Thanks to Ranger Lindsey from Somerville State Park who dropped by to tell us of a program they are conducting to help families learn how to camp. Lindsey took her first time on radio and first contact with Roger & Roy like a Trooper. Or Ranger. She played along with our silliness but Roger thinks when she was through, she was happy to go and had about enough of us as she wanted. We have that effect on peoples.
